We were in a Coaching Webinar
several months ago and as I was sharing an experience with the rest of our
team, our awesome facilitator and leader caught the power in what I had just
shared. She said, “Say that again.” So I did… “There is so much power in the
silence.” In a hot second, so many other
thoughts hit me that went with this statement.
There is power in silence! Whether that be in Coaching or our every day
lives as we live for the Lord and strive to be like Christ.
…
One that really came to me was “Silence
in waiting for the answer(s) to a prayer takes patience but WOW and thanks
comes when it’s answered.”
…
When listening to someone who just
needs that listening ear…
…
We were given two ears and only one
mouth!
…
When something negative, rude, or
insulting arises, it’s best to just not say anything at all.
…
I am confident that more will come
to me as time passes in regards to this, but I felt the need to share this for
now. Where have you seen the
power of being quiet? Have you ever thought about the truth behind that
before? I hadn’t really.
