As ya’ll know, we unexpectantly
lost our first four legged baby boy right before Christmas last year, and boy
did it tear us up! We still get down and
upset when we think about it. Duke was
the best black lab ever...a son whose memories will live on forever in our hearts!
Over time, we have pulled some of
Duke’s old toys, bowls, etc out for our 10 month old Golden Retriever,
Joy. As we have done this, I thought, “Awe,
look, Duke left his stuff behind for his little sister.”
Making this a short and sweet
entry, God nudged me in these thoughts about Duke and Joy and asked, “What will
you leave behind? What legacy will you be known for?” Will it glorify God, yourself, or culture?”
